My essence of blue is both the mellow & the melancholy. The mood I was feeling was one of the tranquillity and awe you might feel at the site of a clear blue sky or the miracle of the rainbow—simple beauty. As one of my friends said: “It is in one of those moments I know there is a God!” I wrote three different Shades of Blue melodies but this instrumental piano version won out. Sorry no flute or vocals on this one!
